I have had a lot of pelvic pain for 2 years now. I was having painful intercourse, painful periods, painful bowel movements, and trouble trying to get pregnant. A Lot of doctors wouldn't listen. "Oh it's normal during your period. Before and after it too, some would say. I have found a wonderful doctor that finally listened to me. On October 20th, 1998, I had a laparoscopy, and was diagnosed with endometriosis. The doctor did burn it off. I wonder how long it will be before it comes back. I also hope this hasn't left me infertile. If I can't conceive after a certain amount of time then I need to consider other options, such as hysterectomy.
