Previous experience/career:
Charles Miller, MD is a graduate of the Northwestern University Honor's Program
in Medical Education, Chicago, USA. He did his residency in Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, University of Texas Southwestern
Medical School, Dallas, Texas, and later was awarded a Fellowship in
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has also held the positions: Director,
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Lutheran General Hospital, Park
Ridge, Illinois (1983-1995); Medical Director, Center for Human Reproduction,
Chicago, IL (1995-1999); Board of Directors, International Society of
Gynecologic Endoscopy (1997-2001); Trustee, American Association of Gynecologic
Laparoscopy (2001-2003);
Current Organizations and Activities:
Editorial Advisor for the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists,
National Advisor for the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists,
Editorial Board Member, OB/GYN News, Editor of the Master’s Class a surgical
tutorial for OB/GYN News, member of the Board of Directors for the International
Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE), member of the Society of Assisted
Reproductive Technology of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)
and founding member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons of the ASRM, the
Chicago Association of Reproductive Endocrinology and the Chicago Association of
Gynecologic Endoscopy. He is also on the Clinical Advisory Board of the
Endometriosis Association, and RESOLVE.
