Dr Juan Garcia-Velasco

Dr Juan Garcia-Velasco is a consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology and in IVF who did his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University (USA). He is the medical director of Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI-Madrid), an IVF clinic that performs around 2000 IVF-ICSI cycles per year. The PGD program has been running since 1996 and about 200 cycles have been performed (sex-selection, translocations, aneuploidies and recurrent miscarriage). Dr Garcia-Velasco´s main interest has been IVF and endometriosis (1-7). He has been invited to speak at several Societies (precongress ESHRE courses, Spanish Fertility Society, Colombia Fertility Soc.) and is part of the ESHRE committee on endometriosis as well as referee for several journals (Lancet, Human Reproduction, European Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics).
